History
Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory opened in 2000 with a grand opening celebration of the 8,000 square foot Conservatory filled with free-flying butterflies, moths, and tropical vegetation in November of that year. The Conservatory is a tropical oasis, maintained between 78-80 degrees year round.
For over 25 years Magic Wings has been a year-round tropical destination for visitors looking to experience over 4,000 free-flying butterflies, reptiles, tortoises, and enjoy the two koi ponds and water features in the Conservatory.
THE FUTURE
In January, 2026, Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory was purchased by new owners, Victoria Tubbs and Vytautas Sukys, a sister and brother team with new energy and a fresh vision for the business.
Under their leadership, Magic Wings has introduced monthly staff-led workshops, staff-led educational tours, birthday parties, and will be renovating many of the spaces.
